This painting was inspired by my trip to Cuba last winter. Cuba is very known for amazing art talent. You can find good unique pieces at every corner and it was a pleasure absorbing it all.

 

Anyways, this particular piece is dedicated to an young artist I met on my last day in Havana. He was at biggest art market in Havana, promoting his own art, and we got into talking about the exceptional of Cuban Art style.

 

He explained the process and I was very interested in trying it out when I came back home.

 

However, of course, I did ask him to select one of his pieces which I will bring back to my own home.

I was granted with a lovely abstract rose, which still hangs in my living room....remiding me of a wonderful memeory....
